Cat Air Service Assigns New General Manager

26/07/2017 - Zürich, Switzerland

Robert Whitehead has been an esteemed member of the Business Aviation community for over 40 years. After leaving his position at Jet Aviation in Zurich Mr Whitehead joined forces with Cat Aviation and Air Service Basel to create Cat Air Service in 2014. Mr Whitehead wanted to reinvent ground handling and offer a fresh, personalised and tailored customer experience that he felt was lacking at Zurich Airport.  After four years of building up the success of the new company, the time has come for him to retire.

He will be leaving his position on August 1st, 2017 and will be handing his position as General Manager at Cat Air Service to Mr Roger Büchner. Mr Büchner knew Mr Whitehead from their careers at Jet Aviation.

Mr Whitehead comments, "I have known Roger for over a decade, he was part of the first four who started CAS with us in 2014, and I have no doubt that he will be successful in managing and leading Cat Air Service into the future."

Mr Büchner comments, "Although we will all be sorry to see Robert go, I am looking forward to taking on new challenges with Cat Air Service."
